Hey guys,
I'm looking to get some opinions on a good archery shop in Central WA. There are none where I live but I do make it to Wenatchee from time to time so possibly Hooked on Toys? I have a Mathews Z7 I would like to get restrung with Winners Choice stings and other general tuning stuff. I'm open to driving somewhere else to if the service would be better. I would love to go check out XXX Archery but 10 hours round trip is a bit much.
Thanks for any input.

May I ask why winners choice?
-
I'm sure you could ups it to denton at rock creek , worth it imo.

Because I think it is due for a new string and I want the best. Do you have another suggestion?

In Enumclaw?

I think winners choice are fine stings still but not the best like they were before the company sold a few years back. I was a huge winner's choice fan before they sold I believe quality has gone away since the sale.

I didn't realize they were having quality control issues.....So which ones would you suggest instead?

I've had a set of first string I really liked. Brite string in another good custom string maker right here in wa.

Kind of a trek but Steve at outdoor emporium in Seattle is a wizard. We take all our bows to him and are never disappointed. Knowledgeable, fast, helpful, can't say enough good things about him

Yeah I'd skip winners choice they are decent but not like they where. Bright strings 60x both do a good job. Where are you located at in central?

Matt Featherly in Omak at North 40. Mathews dealer
Yes, Wenatchee area needs a good pro shop...
-
I thought Sportsmans in Wenatchee was a Mathews dealer :dunno:

Like I said..

Does Denton make strings or would he have to order?

Like I said..
I wonder where we could find a local with experience in the area to start up a shop with some shooting lanes? Hmmm.

hmmm..:)

Shop in Ellensburg I believe. Can't think of the name at this moment.
-
It's a matter of if the shop would be supported. :twocents: the money to open a shop big enough for lanes is around but the locals won't support it. To easy to shoot in your yard or woods.

Denton makes strings.

So does Riverside Archery. My strings are.from them.

Lucky shop in chehalis is a pretty good shop. Side hill archery in Kalama makes there own strings and are pretty well known through the industry for there strings.

Sure shot gun and pawn in kittitas are often overlooked. I've seen and heard of them go above and beyond for non locals when I lived in eburg.

I'm looking for a place to take my bow too, I use to take my bow to Hooked on toys but it always took a while to get it back.

I am also in central WA looking for a pro shop. I was hoping to find a shop I could also shoot at so if adjustment needs done can do it all at once. Iam seeing that probably isn't one. How about around cour d'Alene? It's a lot close than any where on the west side.

I hear one is coming to Yakima, with an indoor range.
-
Just heard today it will be opening up possibly next month, off of Pomona road in east selah. Scout Lake Archery.

I hear North 40 in tricities has a indoor shooting range. Does anyone now who is the best person to talk to about trying to tune a bow there.
