Title: Mazama Bears
Post by: saylean on July 07, 2016, 10:17:56 AM: Went camping last weekend in Mazama, saw two separate bears a few hundred yards out of camp on the hillsides. Both boars from my guesstimate. It was great to be able to watch them eat and wander about a little bit. The boy got to watch one with me for about 30 minutes before dusk finally pushed its way in. He walked along a cliffs edge sniffing the breeze from the camps below, then resided to standing and eating some berries on a bush.

Watching bears has to be a favorite past time of mine. What a treat it is.

don't have the gmu map with me atm, but was right by robinson creek.
