Was just finishing up load development for my 280 Ackley and ran out of primers. I was using Federal Large Rifle Primers No 210. They are currently nowhere to be found. Only needed a couple more range sessions and I would have ordered my Leupold CDS dial.
On the suggestion of an experienced reloader, I'm going to substitute Winchester WLR primers and pretty much start over. With limited Load data available, I'm going to reduce the powder charge ten percent and start there. Sounds like the Federal primers won't be available till early next year.. :dunno:

I hear you been looking for Fed215 primers for a while. I finally cut bait on load development and switched and started over. :bash:

I just called Three Forks and he has them. I was able to pay for them and he'll hold them till I pick them up at my convenience.
Thanks for the heads up Crunchy!
Midway, Natchez, Cabela's Brownells.. None of those places has them. Adventure Sports isn't expecting any till next year.
