Title: Best navigation app for your phone.
Post by: T-Dozzer on July 13, 2016, 04:10:32 PM: Curious what others are using for navigation/map apps for cell phones.
Obviously, there is google maps.
I have PDF( avenza) maps & US Topo maps as well, but haven't used very much.
I like the clarity of my phone screen better than my old Garmin so just want something I can run while off line & no service.
I have a S7 edge (android)

What do you like about it compared to all the others? I don't look like its available in my galaxy app store.

I like the detail and the customizable display. With all that said I have not tried many others. It was recommended and I went with it and I'm happy with it. I have an iPhone.

Post by: treeclimber2852 on July 13, 2016, 10:41:14 PM: I use GPS hunt pro. It shows property ownership and you can buy Washington GMU maps with aerial topo and trails very cheaply. It's nice seeing the property boundaries for public as well as GMU boundaries. I've been able to download the maps so they're available offline. I've gotten pretty deep bushwacking and it's gotten me out every time.
