Salt, gets absorbed into the dirt and they dig at it and lick.

Are those pics from out in the hills near battle ground? I didn't know we had elk that close by. Those bucks look like the'll be pretty good ones in a few more years.

not this year, having knee surgery tomorrow, not sure if the knee will be ready.

I've been there. :'( Last year I 'popped' the tricep of the bone on my left elbow, and I was really down that I wasn't going to be able to hunt with my bow or be able to hunt at all, but that year turned out to be my best trout fishing, duck hunting and deer hunting year I have ever experienced! I even killed the biggest black-tail buck our family has ever got! So don't feel down about it, you'll be able to cope with it and you never know what you might be able to do this year... :tup:
