What's the difference from the current Razor HD already out?
-
They look more like Swarovskis maybe??

That alone will probably sell a few.

Will you be able to get the front lens cap on/off without a fight?

Here's the info sent along with the video.

Either that or pack a can opener w/it like they used to do with a half-case of beer when it came in steel cans.
-
I've been eyeballing the 65, is the price going up too?
-
How much?
-
The price will be the same as the past Razor HD Spotters, no increase that I can see, very nice!
Not sure what you guys are referring to on the glass cups being too tight, I have them all & see they are snug but by no means an issue? They won't fall off that's for sure! (grin)

Nice looking upgrade on features.

Looks like there are going to be some really skookum sale prices on the current model.
I have been seeing them offered at $999 & $1,299 this week. Use the 10% coupon that is out there right now and that is probably the best spotting scope deal I have seen in a long while.

Wow, without a doubt.

That is the news I got

Vortex website says 27-60x85 and 22-48x65

You are correct and I am wrong.
-
I noticed those....why would they increase the magnification?
-
Will it still share the same objectives as the Swaros? My buddy has a Swaro and that is how I got excited about the eyepiece w/reticle. It doesn't lock in place on his, but functions great.
Nobody had to talk me into buying one.
-
Yep, 22-48X65 -- I'm hoping mine shows today! (grin)

$899 and $1174 for the "old" razors on camofire right now. Also great deal on Leica 1600-b
-
opticsplanet has an instant $400 rebate on vortex razor spotters right now
-
If you have been serious about getting a quality spotter this product line update represents an outstanding opportunity. The new one has the new features, but the older Razor does not want for much.
-
When will these be available to buy?
-
Ordered one of the 65s Sunday from Midway USA for $1169.99, with free shipping, and yes, it's the new version.

Did you get this yet? Wondering how you liked it. Ordered mine yesterday

Yes I got it this weekend! Excellent clarity! I haven't taken it out in the field yet, so from my house I only can look about 600 yards, but it I was very impressed at that distance.

I'm researching the best spotter for the money and see that cabelas has the angled 85 on sale at $999.
What is everyone's opinion on it?
Pros and cons to the 65 vs. 85?
I've never owned a good spotter but now that I live in Wenatchee I've been able to get out way more and need to have a good spotter to go with my new Swarovski binos I picked up this summer
-
That's a deal for the 85. It's not the the newer one but they were normally $1600. I have 1 and it's great. Not the greatest for packing around but great to look through. Just get a good tripod and panhead.

I thought that was the new one. I suppose the 85 is bigger for packing vs. the 65. Also not sure about angled vs straight yet.
-
You are right that is the old model but a good price.

An outstanding price. We have an angled Razor 85 and it is pretty heavy, but it is a fabulous scope.

Might have to give Shamus a call..:)

its prob not the best for throwing in the pack.
The 65 is prob better for that.

I picked up a Vortex Razor Angled HD 20-60x85with tripod, mount, & phoneskope from a member. Can't wait to get it tomorrow and try it out in the Swakane this weekend for some late archery scouting!! Should be an interesting hunt from what I hear. Hoping to find a more remote spot to get away from the crowds.

U won't be disappointed
