So here's the game...pictured are 7 skulls cleaned (by our large colony of dermestid beetles), degreased, and whitened. Submit your guess on what animal each skull belongs to and the first member to guess correctly, in order, will be mailed a B.R.T. 20% off gift certificate off a elk or deer standard shoulder mount for the 2016 hunting season.
Member has one chance to guess all 7, in order (smallest to largest). Clue=all skulls are from mammals native to our great state of Washington. Below are the group picture of the skulls with individual shots of 2 skulls, in order. Guesses have to be specific....you just cant put 'rodent'.
I will watch and advise when there's and who the winner is and will msg you for your address to mail your certificate. Lets give it 3 days and if no one has guessed correctly I will let you know what they are....good luck!
Thought this might be a little fun.....
Best of luck! Joel- BRT

Dang it , I wasted a guess. Someone guessed that already
-
Here they are in order....JimmyHoffa and -Trap-Addict were the closest.
1. Bat
2. Squirrel (squirrel, sage rat, chipmunk: all would have worked)
3. Possum
4. Raccoon
5. Bobcat
6. Coyote
7. Elk
-
The first 6 were victims of Bigfoot and the last was a benchleg deer
-
Dang would have never guessed bat. Actually smossy was closest at 6/7 in correct order ;)
-
Went back and forth between flying squirrel and rabbit for number 2. 5/7 though...not bad. Thanks for posting.
-
I'm curious about what species of bat? Never thought a bat from Washington would be that large.

-
Ebell,
to be honest with ya, not sure what species it was, black bat with tan head....would show ya pics if I had some. Its not as big as it may appear....the squirrel skull is really small as it was a juvenile animal....so the comparison makes the bat skull look larger.
