Title: Wheres the bears?

Same here. I went low instead of high and seen plenty of bear crap but it was a week old or more. I was out with the family picking berries yesterday and seen a bear in a meadow about 4400 ft in berries. I would have went high today if I didn't have my dad along.

Post by: fish vacuum on August 02, 2016, 12:32:25 AM: I made a half hearted effort this morning. Started at first light and covered some areas where the blackberries are getting ripe. Didn't see much of interest besides one doe and a small buck. By 10:00 it was too warm for me so I called it a day.

We finally got out to the area I wanted to try and then came all the "I'm tired" "I'm hungry" "how much longer". At that point I definitely did not want to drop a bear and also have to deal with her. Oh well, good to get out I suppose.
