Title: Savage 99E year made?

Post by: JoeE on August 08, 2016, 04:05:56 PM: I figured it out. There is a lever boss code (LBC) on hand levers. Mine is an "N" which put it as 1962. Kinda cool rifles now that I've been reading about them this past week. My dad has owned this rifle my whole life and I used it to shoot my first several deer with as a kid. Now I have it and just got curious about its history.
