Title: Mule deer cam a bust so far
Post by: hunter399 on August 06, 2016, 04:47:52 PM: Had cam out for 1 week ,no deer or elk yet. I'm gonna keep trying checking this once a week ,so I will know more on Wednesday. Plenty of bears in the area,I'm thinking I might try some rabbit food maybe something that bears won't eat.

Salt. No block. Just salt and lots of it.

Use lithium batts. I get over a year batt life on my bushnells using the energizer ultimate lithiums

I do use those in my primos cam I might switch cams and put my newer one up there.Looked at Colville walmart they said they don't sell them in that size maybe Internet.

Post by: Quackwhacker on August 06, 2016, 08:29:51 PM: Upgrade your cam. You'll save money. AA lithium are a good investment. I get thousands of pics on a set. Try to stay out of the area and the deer will find your goods. Good luck.
