I wouldn't worry too much about a bunch of bunnies huggers calling me names. I'd also move out of Komifornia asap
-
She did the right thing to protect her family and her self
-
I just don't get the mentality of people who think they have a right to harass someone else who does something that is within their legal rights. :dunno:
The jerks who are harassing her deserve to get a abrupt lesson. I hope it happens.
-
Let those people see how it is to have a bear in their house then. Wouldn't want neighbors like that myself
-
I did a quick look on Facebook to see what kind of ridiculous comments were attached. Found a Los Angeles Times article, I wasn't disappointed.
-
I don't care what idiots think. She had no other choices.
-
From the article, she wasn't even the one to pull the trigger.
-
Ive had some threats/insults coming from my book. Mainly Brits animal right whack jobs, gotta laugh at them. The woman in the story did the right thing. Good for her.
-
Wow. I expected something else than what I ended up reading in the article. There is absolutely no reason whatsoever for those crazy people to be harassing that woman.
The bear was repeatedly breaking into her home so she got a permit from the department of wildlife and hired a hunter to take out the bear. And those people have a problem with her? What despicable human beings those lowlife scumbags are that think she should just let the bear kill her kids and destroy her home. For her sake, I hope she can move out of Kalifornia.
-
Jerks! she did what she had to do.
-
Said it before I'll say it again, the saddest sign of the degradation of our society may be the large number of people who value animal lives more than those of their fellow man

I find it extremely hypocritical that these so called "environmentalists" or "animal lovers" are the first ones to spew hate and death threats to people who have different views than them. I can't understand why they refuse to accept that hunters and fishermen/women are the group that spends the most time and money on projects that actually help conserve the species we love to pursue.
I just don't get it...

That's what we've been trained to do by the media and the politicians - hate each other over political views, even a single issue. Divide and conquer. As soon as society is a total mess, the government steps in and takes over. It's been in practice since the first Clinton took office and has been gaining momentum ever since.

Perfect Point P-Man, remember the wolf discussions, how many people are still brain-washed enough to think WDFW etc. will do the right thing for WA?
Look at the pro-wolf folks and their attitude towards killing wolves over predation on livestock. Same deal just a different state.
The USFWS, politicians, state game agencies and their lawyer partners "environmental groups" have brain washed a generation plus.
