A little late to post. Shot this nice old Boar at 9:20 AM on the 15th Opener up in Greenwater. Caught him cruising around in the huckleberries. 400 yard shot downhill. I am lucky to have my Pops backing me up. (and who says a .25-06 isn't a bear killer!) This tough guy didn't want to go down. Prior Scouting prevents poor performance....I have been up in the woods for last 6 weeks finding bears.
.30-06 hand loaded 150 Gr Noslers. I wish luck to all Bear Hunters!
