Title: Lost my best buddy.
Post by: sled on August 17, 2016, 08:27:52 PM: Last Friday I lost my best buddy. The amount of guilt I still feel from lying next to him crying my eyes out while he was put down is unmeasurable. He was 14 1/2 years old. Damn I miss that stupid ass mut.

Don't feel guilty for showing your emotions(you loved him).

Im still sick to my stomach and cant get used to her not being around... watching football last Saturday without a dog staring at me the whole time was weird... time will heal... puppies heal.... Im sorry you had to do that dreaded trip to the vet.... its miserable I know... sorry for your loss..

My dog is somewhere between 14-16 years old...our family knows his days are shortening by the moment. We're already trying to make plans for that day (especially for our kids' sakes). I get kinda teared up thinking about it, too.
