Last year I picked up a tikka T-3 in .270 WSM . I'm looking at 140 grn bullets is there any of you that shoot the .270 WSM with a favorite round ? I don't reload yet
Thanks Jake

I have one and love it. I like the 140gr Sierra Game King Hollow Point Boat Tail. I load 62.8 grains of Reloader 19, WLRM Primers 2.700 OAL. This has proven to be a great load for me.

Before reloading the winchester ammo with 140gr accubond's worked well for me. Nice tight group

Warbird, have you had issues with factory loads not shooting accurately outta your xbolt?
thanks!

We were shooting 140gr Barnes TTSX out of my dad's 270 wsm and they wouldn't group worth a *censored*. I'm talking about 4-5" 3 shot groups at 100 yards. I went and bought a box of Winchester 150gr ammo and with this ammo the gun now shoots MOA at 100 yards.

I hand load 140 hornady interloc 140 btsp and my tikka shoots 3 shot touching groups at 100yds and 2 1/2 groups at 420yds. They are around 3200 fps at the muzzle per chronograph. Time will tell if they hold together at close range. I shot a buck at 184yds last year and it folded and was dead instantly.
