Title: R Bros Rifles Info
Post by: rbros on August 22, 2016, 12:42:07 PM
So, I seem to receive a few PM's a week and emails regarding this subject, so I figured I would post it up here for everyone.  It was easier to steal it from the Facebook page LOL.....

Here at R Bros Rifles, we are known for manufacturing some of most accurate custom rifles in world. However, some may not know this but we also build rifles from customer supplied parts. While it’s hard to compare factory actions to our custom Rogue action, Travis Redell (owner of R Bros), can still true it to its full potential. To ensure quality and safety, we currently only work on Remington actions and custom actions. The example below illustrates the cost savings you can achieve without sacrificing accuracy that you can only expect from a custom build. This customer simply supplied a Remington 700 action and we supplied the rest. The cost to this customer was $2775, which amounted to 33% savings if they were to use our custom action.
Here is a breakdown of what went into the build:
 · Complete Truing of action
 · Broughton LWLR Contour, 27" Fluted
 · Greybull Stock, bedded
 · Jewell Trigger
 · 20 MOA Rail
 · Wyatts internal box mag
 · BDL Bottom Metal
 · 3 Port Brake
 · Saddle Cheekpiece
 · Matte Black GunKote finish
 · Desert Web stock
We understand that purchasing a fully custom rifle is a big commitment and a passion. However, here at R Bros Rifles, we do our best to provide options for every customer to make sure that they are able to have the accuracy we are known for, at a value that best suits their needs. Give us a call and learn more about our value options

Nice looking rifle!  What barrel contour is the LWLR? Similar to a Sendero?

A little repost from the Facebook page....

The team here at R Bros would like to welcome everyone to 2017. Running on our successes of 2016, we have some cool stuff coming down the line for 2017 that we think everyone will like.
Here is a quick run down of what R Bros has planned in 2017:
Instructional DVD series that will benefit both hunters and competition shooters like
New muzzle brake concept that will allow guys to use any brake and make it self timing
More classes, both hunting and competition.
Full blown competitive PRS rifle with a price and features that will shock ALOT of people
New hunting platform
New ring/base combo
More items in the webstore and will also be working towards a "shooters" showroom so guys can look before they buy

All of this while still producing rifles with the accuracy that R Bros is known for and service to match.

A lesson in wind doping would be cool.

Know anyone wanting to get started in long range shooting and hunting? April 30th we'll be hosting a 1 day class at the NCW Gun Club in East Wenatchee where we'll cover all aspects of long range shooting and hunting from start to finish. We'll go over ballistics, rifle and gear setup, as well as gather data out to 1000 yds. During this live fire time, we'll also cover some of the basic field shooting topics such as shooting from obstacles and effective use of your tripod.
