Hi Folks, :hello:
I was thinking about throwing on a Trapper Training Fall Class on the westside.
I'm thinking some time within the first two weeks of October just before Hunting Season opens up and just before trapping season opens.
There is one in September that I know. I'll be working that one with Ed. Than I think the next one is in December.
Any interest ?
I've got to see how many are interested so I can find a place to hold it.

Be interested, but where at, cost etc would weigh in for me
-
I would like to take the class. I am in Cowlitz county.
-
Cost is $15.00 for the manual up front, check made out to WSTA
Where: Depends on how many are interested. If we get a large crowd, Cabelas up in Marysville said I can use their meeting room. If only a few I'll have it in either Snohomish or Monroe.
When: I might set it up for an evening during the week, so you folks can finish your work day.

Karen is putting hers on I think in Cabelas in Olympia, not sure on her dates.
You might want to check with her. I'm up in Snohomish County.
Maybe for next year we could get a traveling Instructors Crew together.

I have a friend in Oly who would like to take a class this fall. Any info regarding the class at the Lacy Cabelas?
-
Karen will probably see this and set things straight but I think we will not be using the Lacy Cabelas. All I can say is it will be in Thurston County and probably around the first of December.
Cabelas was very accommodating but their meeting room is like holding a class in a one lane bowling alley.

I'm interested, I live in Marysville so all 3 of the cities named work for me
-
I have three that would like to attend. I am a career firefighter with West Thurston Fire and I know in the past you guys have used our large meeting room at the Littlerock Station. While I cant speak for the admin for use of this room, I am sure it would be no problem if you asked them. Let me know and I can get you contact information if you need through a PM. Its a great facility with all the amenities you need and a large open space out back.
Thank you,
Joel - BRT

Thanks Joel, I've sent an email to Lanette and am waiting to hear back from her. Also am waiting to get a response from my boss to get the day off work. I'm hoping to have the class on Dec. 3rd but won't know for sure for a while.

:hello:
Looks like only a couple of folks so far for the October class.
I'm thinking if there is only going to be a couple I might want to move those people over to Ed's class which is on 10th of September. So how many are interested in that or the October class? September 10th is just around the corner.

I see that only a couple people want to take a latter trapper training class.
Since there are only a couple, I'm going to chose to move that later class up to the next one coming up in September on the tenth. I need you to call Ed Cunningham after 7:00 pm and get on his list for that class. I will be helping him with that class. It should be a good one. If you need his phone number send me a PM and I'll give it to you.
Next class here on the west side unless I hear different will be Karen's class in December.

My daughter and I hope to attend in December, if it is within an hour of Chehalis.
-
I'm in Centralia area I've been wanting to attend one
-
I talked to Karen and it looks like it will be at the Lacy Cabelas after all, Dec. 3rd.
I hope I have not stepped on Karen's toes but she said her computer was on the fritz and I wanted to get the word out.
