Hey guys,. Are the register to hunt lands worth waiting and signing up for ?    I would think so other wise they wouldn't be listed

Good question.  I was considering trying one of these myself.  Review of the satellite photos of "feel free to hunt" and "register to hunt" properties shows that there appears to be some real gems out there.  Most are just a long long way from this end of the universe.

Yea, most are close to an hour away.  But if it's 6000 acres with only 3 guys.   Im sure there are plenty of deer.    Im just worried about finding white tail in the hills  for late muzzy.

That's why it's called hunting (and not killing).  You just never know how it's going to work out until you get out there and try.  Someone here must have tried these spots.  I assume that few (zero) hunters talking about it might just mean the hunting is pretty good.

I think I'd like to try them during early muzzy before any rifle guys get in there, but that rut hunt in late muzzy might be phenomenal.  :dunno:

I have no idea when the rut is out here. Still gotta figure that out. Back home, White tails get into it early ) mid November and Ford till the beginning of Dec.

You'll see about the same rut time frame that you mentioned around here.
