Ok guys and gals heres my good deed for this years hunting season. Ive been camping at Davis Lake in Ferry County for the past week and have seen 5 black bears, 2 on the small side maybe 2-3 year olds but i have seen 3 huge blackies. One was the largest I have ever seen. All but one has been along Davis Lake rd eatting choke cherries. The monster was towards the top of the mountain. Hope this helps some of you fill your tag.

To far for me, but thanks for the heads up!

My guess why so many bears in one area and thats only the ones ive seen close to the road is because of last years fires pushed them into this area and there is a lot of food for them to eat.

Good to hear! I'm leaving in about 4 hours to head that way, thanks for the tip!
