Title: Mountain Bikes?

I have a specialized Hard rock and ride it a little bit and have been looking around and saw you can get electric mid drive kits for them has anyone done this or bought a electric bike what are your thoughts on them ?

I'm not wanting a motor that's going to make my bike rip and go all wicked fast just want something that will help me get further back into the woods.
