Title: hunting Cle elum

Has anybody had any luck in this area specifically around french cabin or Thorpe lake.  I have seen a lot of signs but mainly doe the last 2 years.  I am heading over for muzzeloader in a couple days will see what happens Good luck to all. Any advice would be greatly appreciated

I would suggest CleElum ridge. You can get on the ridge behind Willette's Shell station in CleElum. I have seen numerous bucks this last summer. You will need a 4-wheel drive rig and good mud tires if it has rained, it will be a sloppy mess.

Cle Elum ridge is a good place, lots of deer and lots of them get harvested each year, some of the bigger bucks in the cle elum area come off there, but it is all becomming private land, gates everywhere.   As pointed out the only way to really get up there now without walking the whole way is behind willettes shell.  A lot of people will be up there, have fun.
