Why do this to an animal??  honestly i would be afraid to eat that thing not knowing what all kinds of growth hormones that have been pumped into it...but i guess the ass-hats that "hunt" for these kinds of "trophy's" aren't worried about eating them anyway..people should be brought up on cruelty to animal charges...

As for the feeding him as they were unless baiting? :stirthepot: But if in the wild and had that growth naturally, not fenced and not tagged as he was yea I'd shoot.
Fenced in like a farm animal but isn't that private property? :stirthepot: and got a keep him on there right but no not like that.
That said there used to be a full mount at a restaurant we used to go to that had tons of points like that. Was a big mule deer buck. So not all are wrong like that just in the wild as they should be.

So, do they put him in a headgate to get the velvet off?  Harvest them in the velvet for the specialty market?  Single trait selection can do some wild stuff.
