Title: Fall 2016 WA Bear ***Full hunt video added***
Post by: dmoua on September 11, 2016, 09:23:28 PM: My gf with her fall bear. After missing the opportunities on a few good size bears I told her it was okay to shoot this little fella.

33 yards with the Remington 700 .308. Couldn't be more proud of her for putting in the hard work and covering over 20+ miles of hiking with me in 3 days of hunting. Video will be up in a few days.

33 yards with that scope? She could probably identify individual hairs on the hide! That's really good shooting considering the distance.

I digg the videos man. I missed a bear a little bigger than your girlfriends that was chocolate with blonde tips on Sept 3rd. :bash: I'm gonna try to get back out one more time next Sat and Sunday. I hunt 105 for bear and I shot a 300 pounder last year. Congrats again to both of you and thanks for sharing the videos, too cool!!! 8)

Post by: dmoua on September 23, 2016, 08:06:43 AM: Thanks, she's a trooper. Can't wait for her to get her first Muley this coming season. I just put a new Timney 521 trigger into her Remington Model 7 and now she's more excited than I am for deer season.
