Title: Where to hunt grouse near Kent and Auburn?
Post by: maksimvoz on September 14, 2016, 02:05:17 PM: So based off of these forums, there are no grouse near green water and apparently you cant hunt with a gun near tiger mountain. So I was wondering if there are any good places to go grouse hunting no more than 2 hours away?

Post by: superdown on September 14, 2016, 02:16:37 PM: I have seen grouse up the 70 road in green water and spur roads.You can hunt with a rifle east of hwy 18 in the tiger mountain area west of hwy 18 is archery,muzzloader and shotgun only.As far as near kent or auburn there is not really anywhere to hunt unless you get private access or have a timber company permit.

Post by: JeffRaines on September 15, 2016, 12:28:21 AM: I mentioned that I didn't run across any for the opener, but that doesn't mean they aren't there. I've personally taken grouse out of the area behind greenwater and its definitely worth another look, was just stating my observation.
