Well I finished my first homebrew ( w-80 ). It took awhile and a little help from a couple very nice people from this site it is done. I think I kind of know what I'm doing so the next one should be a little easier. My paint job did not turn out how I wanted so I mixed all the colors together. It looks like a big cow paddy but it works. I used the kids as test animals and had them walk back and forth in front of it and it worked so it's time to put it in the field next week.
Thanks to everyone that helped or answered some if my dumb questions.

Looks good. We should take a count about how many have been built since December. If camera availablilty is any clue.........there should be lots!

Craig, Good job I was reading the homebrew thread back in December and it sparked my intrest. How long did it take you to build?
-

bout how much does it cost to build one?

Thats looks cool! I was cracking up when you made the comment about the cow pie. When I first glanced at it I thought you tried to make it look like a pile of bear :crap: Regardless, I bet your stoked and cant wait to put it to use!!

Looking good Craig. I wouldn't worry about the color much. My first one I put on one tree and it blended great. Moved it to a different tree and it stood out like a sore thumb. Besides, if you use a flash, you can't hide the camera. Many times it will flash during daylight too. Can't wait to see pics of the animals.

Well I just put my first homebrew out in the woods. We will see how the test run works out in a couple of weeks.
