Title: Question about bow shops, in the market for a new bow

I'm on the hunt for a new bow and am always hampered by the fact that I have a long draw (31") and am left-handed. So, that means the shops never have anything on the rack that I can shoot to try before purchasing. I've shot right-handed versions as an approximation, but it's not the same.

Do you know if it's possible to get the manufacturer to send a dealer the correct bow for me in order to try, knowing that I might not end up buying it? I'm struggling to drop a grand on a new bow without even shooting it!

Post by: Yankee on October 02, 2016, 08:26:36 AM: I live in the Shoreline area. I've gone to Riverside a couple years back, thought the shop and employees treated me well. I think I shot a PSE there? I'm keying in the Elite bows due to their supposed "shootability", but waiting until the new models come out is a good suggestion. I've been using a Bowtech Insanity for the past four years and been happy with it, just haven't seen/heard anything good from them recently to motivate me to buy another..
