Well since my Dad passed I just haven't had the focus to go shooting. Been sticking to my bows. I had some reloads I made up for taking him after for a trophy bull I figured I'd anchor that where 338 win 225grn accubonds with 71grns of 4350 behind. Well first shots I was off a lot. After 6 shots I had the 338 dialed in 2" high at 100 yards and was grouping less then 1/2". I also took my mom's new boy friends 3006 670 win out which he wanted me to have. It took me a box of ammo to get it on paper and dialed in but after all was said and done at 100 yards it was able to hit a 243 bullet hole my step son put in the target. It was nice to get out shooting again and nice to see I could still shoot after a few years away.

Right on man. Sounds awesome. I know the feeling of using an entire box of ammo just to hit paper. How's that .338 do recoil wise?

My 338 is pretty easy just a long push the way it's built. The 06 kicks harder for sure.
