click on gallery up top to the left, then click on my gallery to the right...it will get you where you need to go.
you can create your own gallery or upload them to the general galleries.
-
I never look at the galleries. You can create a thread on deer hunting or elk or even in the taxidermy section and call it your mounts or your bones or whateever. The big ones we'll demand stories. ;)
-
800x600 is good for showing detail. 640x480 won't require most computers to scroll I think.
-
WOW...we need stories for those monsters! Great bucks
-
Did you ever have those scored? It's hard to tell how big they are because of the angle they are shot at and you are standing so far behind the antlers holding them out. Stories?
-
upload to photobucket, then use the direct link to post on here...it will resize them for you.
thats all i do...and i will 2nd the statement, i never look at the galleries.
-
Gorgeous bucks! Yeah, now u have some appreciation of these guys always putting pics on here. ;)
-
Look forward to you doing that!! Love stories about big bucks!
-
Great story...and an even better buck! VERY, VERY NICE!
Thanks for taking the time to let us enjoy the story...and I'd love to hear the story on the droptine buck also (Of course, after your fingers rest up a bit)
-
Great story..look forward to more!
-
WAY TO GO!!! Nice bucks!!
-
well done funny that your dad saw the other buck and told you to get him the next year and you did but lets hear the story
-
nice bucks
-
Nice writeups Rem, congrats on the smoker bucks
-
really well told stories keep up the good work and dang nice bucks
-
Well you can't tell us you wrestled for a state championship and not give us the outcome! Did you win?
Looks like that droptine must have broke off huh?
-Lowedog
-
Great stories man 8)
-
Awsome story and bucks!Congrats!
-
I love your bucks, but  on those scores. :sry: Don't let me discourage you they are awesome.
-
DEAL! But unless is was a Boone or a Pope measurer, it doesn't count much. Lots of measurers at those shows that don't havem a clue. Like i said, they are great bucks. I'm ready for my serving of humble pie though. ;)
-
Great stories. That dropper is outrageosly COOL!
-
Great buck and story...
-
that was a great story! and a buck of a lifetime congrats and thanks
-
Awesome buck and story.
-
Recommended, but not true.
Well then your photo skills suck because you made them look smaller not bigger. :chuckle:
-
That bottom deer is what I consider the ultimate in rack configurations. Love the mass, and squarelook and brows. To me thats the ultimate buck. His score I could possibly believe in the 180s. Just because his backs seem a bit weak for a 190 and his main seem short on one side. He'd sure be taken his last breathe no matter what state I saw him in though. I love him.
-
I like him way better than that top buck. Granted its a bit hard with camera angle etc. But the top buck has a weak back for sure. Then its mass is more out in its points than where it needs to be....remember mass is the smallest circumferance which kills that buck at his bases. Throw in no eyeguards and its a sunk ship. Thats the one I think the score is way off on. Granted he might be a bit wider but his mains might limit that. Thats hard to see in the pic. :dunno: I'm only talkin scores/shootin the breeze. INCREDIBLE buck especially at 17.
-
great write up and awesome bucks! definately a buck of a lifetime and memories you will never forget
-
The bottom one doesn't go outside the ears. The width is not that wide. Good symetry though.
The top buck is wider. Without the head and ears it is difficult to tell in these pictures. I definitely think the top buck is bigger. I think 180"? So hard to tell. We need some more pictures.
I think the scorer used the same method my brother does to score his deer... 8 beers + B&C score + 25" = internet score.
Crap, hope I don't have to eat pie with Bone... :) They are still bigger than anything I've shot.
-
Great Story!!! Nice Bucks!!! Where did you go to school at Remington300Mag?
-
I would LOVE to score them for you, and show you what I know about scoring. I'd even get some pics of you and them if you wanted them. Don't fret. We are just shootin the breeze with scores. Their great points are those fronts. Reason we are giving ya heat is the backs have to be damn good to hit 190 along with the fronts....
for instance, this guy might maybe hit 190 but I bet his backs might even be too weak.

-
Nice work! That's a great two years of hunting and two tremendous bucks.
I am really interested in your mount- is all of that wood? That's got to be the best antler mount plate/sheild I have ever seen. I like that better than shoulder mounts or euros. Would love some more pics of the wood work. Well done.
-
Great story and great bucks!!! Thanks for posting both!!
-
remember mass doesn't add much to the score eventhough its MY favorite characteristic. Most monsters average 5 inch measurements. Thats 5x4x2 =40 inches
Most decent bucks have 4x4x2=32
not alot of difference.
This particular buck is carrying about as much mass as your top buck. Not many deer compare overall to the mass measurements in your bottom deer.
-
I named this buck "190"... ;)
-
Note the "tuning forks on the back end. The G2s are verytall, and how far down the g3s fork and their length. A great characteristic for 190 type deer. Its ALMOST always the weakest length. If you don't have killer eyeguards or some other characteristic to beat that then its a sunk ship
-

:yeah: I'm with Bone on this one, and that by no means suggests those are not nice bucks Rem, I think they are. If you had not posted the score I would have put that top buck at about 168 and the bottom one at about 171. :twocents: Keep in mind that this is just my opinion and there is no disrespect intended.
Neither one of them has a very large outside spread and their main beam spread looks to be about 20", which will not help in hitting 190. Those two spread measurements are critical for a 190 bucks, especially the inside main.
Like I said they are great bucks and you should be damn proud of them, definitely good bucks for Washington.
-
Remington300Mag just private messaged me to answer my question and he said he "went to Cascade High School in Leavenworth."
-
where did he go?
-
Sorry Remington300Mag, I just figured you were from Cashmere originally.
I do have a concern though. The only state champ from Cascade Leavenworth in the years 1994-1996 was a guy by the name of Brian Koch @ 215lbs in 1996. Therefor your claimed 2 state championships and a second place finish are false. It is odd that you deleted your post after people started questioning your statement!! A guy has to wonder now if that "GLUED" drop tine on your deer is legit or not??? I am not trying to stir the pot. I JUST WANT TO KEEP IT REAL!!!!! Oh, and yes Matt won a state title in 1998.
You must have called his bluff. He deleted all his posts. Makes you wonder if he actually shot those deer. :dunno:
-
Wow, just saw he deleted everything too,.....
What did we all miss?
-
I think this post was about a big deer he had shot and he claimed to be a stud athlete in his story and someone called him on it.
-
i have no doubts that he had some dandy bucks but now who knows maybe you gotta question how/when those bucks were taken
-
maybe theres a reason that drop point looked like a two point glued onto the main beam. :dunno: Sorry if I ran him off guys. Those scores were bogus but I thought we were working through it.
-
A little hunting fib is inevitable on this site but gluing 2-point antlers on a main beam and then posting for a giant ego stroke is a little extreme. Looks like a_bess said what a lot of us were thinking, nice job.
And just an FYI to all the Hunt WA people; this guy is not representative of the Cashmere hunting community...maybe Leavenworth, but not Cashmere :chuckle:
-
Bondo?
-
Maybe he is the middle brother or something and wanted to feel special :chuckle: :chuckle:
MS
-
Wow this got heated really quick over night! Looks like I missed all the action.
-
Wow! Me too Pacific!
I thought the droptine looked strange but I am FAR from an expert so I didn't question it. As far as the scoring goes, I've learned early on to take what most folks say with a grain of salt. (There are fellas here that I would undoubtedly trust though) After all, the buck or bull ALWAYS seems to be a bit bigger in the mind of the man who harvested it...LOL.
As far as the sports expoits of his youth...I was more interested in the bucks! I see that he deleted EVERY post he had on the site too, not just this thread.
-
also deleted all of his photos
-

x2 :yeah:
I was wondering about the wrestling thing too...I wrestled for 15 years and know or have heard of most of the multiple state champs.
-
I combined the two threads just to keep it "simple" with all of the posts gone. I hate being the score police, but if something is way off, I'll be sure to question it. I thought it was done nicely by folks. I took him for his word on the drop though I've never seen ANYTHING like it and the bondo didn't help his case. As far as the wrestling...well, it sure adds to credibility. Lose it there, then the two point drop that looks like a forked horn bondoed on loses and so does even the thought you might have gotten those bucks legally. Its really not necessary to boast on here. Be proud of what ya got. That second buck was awesome. Incredible even, but you know there are doe kills on here that are just as awesome.
-
why do I always miss the good threads?
-
Did anyone save the photos. Let's post them up. Should be a good laugh because I missed the drop tine one. The guy was a multi state wrestling champ? lol. He's a legend in his own mind.
-
Sure it wasn't with the WWE?? :chuckle:
MS
-
Ok, so whats the scoop. He said he's got a bunch of state records and he's some kind of wrestling champion? Then when he got questioned he deleted????
Geez, I kind of feel bad for the guy. Why can't some guys just be straight. those are nice deer why exagerate?
-
Any of you Cashmere guys going to take credit for him as one of "yours"? :chuckle:
-
Rem300 PM'd me and asked me to remove his pics so I removed my post for mercy.
And I believe he said he originally from Leavenworth. Everyone know that what happen's in Leavenworth stays in Leavenworth.
-Lowedog
-
So i am confused a guy post pics of bucks and then gets called on something and runs away, I am not 2 sure or maybe i am lost. What happened did he get caught in a fib and then pulled all of his buck pics, I thought they were some good looking bucks, except 4 the drop tine thing.Who What When Where and Why
It's just possible that he did get caught boasting (about wrestling) and is embarrassed about it. There are contributing factors sometimes that we don't see. Let's give him a break please. Nobody is perfect... by the way.
-
I pm'd him back and told him not to run off. We can all forgive a guy for embellishing a little can't we? He may have to take a few shots but we'll move on.
-Lowedog
-
If his stories were true then why didnt he leave them up and prove all wrong? :dunno: just my thoughts........I mean if you were throwin that at me Id jsut prolly give you a big ol finger(and a few good words) and go about what i know :chuckle:
-
I also chatted with him briefly via PM. I didn't mention the possible embellishments or anything...just chatted about hunting in general. Seemed like a pretty decent fella...at least as far as you can tell via a PM or two.
I agree with Killbilly and lowedog, I don't necessarily care about WHAT he did/didn't do in High School. In the short time I have been on this site I have grown to like it a lot...probably too much in fact. I would hate to see folks run outta town because of something like this. Heck, even the questionable scores and droptine don't necessarily faze me.
Unless there is concrete evidence that he did something illegal then I would like to give him another chance.
-
I agree with everything you say agchawk!! but why would he run off so fast?
-
I'd like him back too...great bucks, and seemed like a great guy. Just somethings did not match up. No big deal.
-
It looked like he had harvested some nice deer to me, though the drop tine buck did look questionable after someone said something about it looking like he had used bondo to attach it.
-
maybe theres a reason that drop point looked like a two point glued onto the main beam
Kind of what I thought, was going to ask him to post some close ups of the droptine.
-
he bro no skin off my nose. I think it takes a good man to do what you just did. Tons of people lie on these forums but at least you had the nuts to set it strait. I havent been able to post on your thread until now but I will say that you have shot some great bucks, score doesnt matter in my house. Thanks for posting them.
-
Hey Rem :hello: Welcome to the site. There are some fellers on here that are generally only an inch or two off when scoring racks and thats even with limited views from bad pics. If your ever in need of an approx. score on something just post it, I'm will ing to bet it will be close to dead nutts on :twocents:
Anyway, no hard feelings here ;)
-
Cool beans man no worries! Now put ur pics back up there!!!
Michael
-
welcome back. :hello:
-
Hey bud, welcome back!
Anyone can make a mistake...it takes a man to admit to it though. I'm glad to see that you came back to the site.
-
Lets ee the pics again, great bucks no matter what!
-
Welcome back Sam.
-
Hey TMan, I'm not into kicking a guy when he is down. He appologized and wants a chance to repost the pics at better angles, a resonable request in my mind, let it be. ;)
-

Well said Phool
Now, why does Tman have another members pictures to use as he pleases? They don't belong to him and he should get rid of them.

I was concerned for the other strict conservatives like Deaddog, ultramag, etc. They need all the help they can get to battle with me on the political threads. Those guys really don't stand a chance without you rem300. Your loss would be a big blow to them. :chuckle:
