Title: Snoqualmie Forest Deer?
Post by: Boehmer on October 19, 2016, 02:11:07 PM: Hey guys, wanting to get back into Blacktail hunting as my son is starting to reach hunting age. Looking for areas within an hour of Issaquah. Thoughts on the Snoqualmie Forest and the Campbell Global permit? Worth it? May try to get out a few times this year, but really want to start scouting for next year. Thanks for the advise, much appreciated!

Post by: jackelope on October 19, 2016, 03:32:12 PM: Lots of stuff to be able to do with that permit. Hunt, fish, camp, firewood. There are deer there. Tough to find, thick country but they are there.

I got a permit this year and have been up fishing once on the North Fork but plan to do more exploring before fall. Hoping to get the dog up there for grouse and it is a fall-back on deer if I don't get one in the Methow during muzzleloader season.
