Title: Unit 15 Idaho Archery
Post by: elkchaser54 on October 19, 2016, 03:51:22 PM
Anyone ever hunted over there during September? Unit 15 Idaho.  Thinking about planning an out of state trip with my old man as it might be one of the last years he can physically pull the bow back and get his butt up and down the mountains.  It looks like some really thick timber and butting up to the gospelhump wilderness where it gets a little rugged.

Elk hunting was my hope. Success rates seem pretty good but it does have a late season archery that might be skewing the numbers compared with just September elk hunting rates
