Spent a cool Saturday morning with the Lil Monte. First time out this season for the dogs and I. I finally decided to retire my dad's old automatic 12. It has smoked hundreds of roosters and quail from Yak to Nebraska. Still a laser death ray, but I have wanted for many years to get back to a 20ga. My 2yo wirehair did a superb job with rock solid points on some very large coveys in open ground and rose clumps. In all, 17 coveys, 3 pheasant and a new spot for ducks. Go get some birds.

I love my new little 20 gauge. (https://hunting-washington.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fuploads.tapatalk-cdn.com%2F20161023%2Ff55de4e6f0065bb119ec3910202b309f.jpg&hash=ebd84826f27c4479734bff4152fb918da62200ef)
