Thanks, I'm going to need all the luck I can get to get him. He is so illusive. I wounded him in his lower left front leg last Thursday afternoon with a botched shot going lower than I wanted and hitting his lower leg. Barely slowed him down. He ran up the super steep canyon and jumped the fence following the other smaller buck that he was with. Couldn't find him at all. I was supposed to leave Friday morning early to Montana for a one day hunt on Saturday for elk but went back up to try and find any sign of the deer Friday morning with no success and left for Montana later in the day then I had planned. I don't think he is mortally wounded and will try again tomorrow afternoon after everything has settled down. If no luck then I will get out the four wheeler this Friday after the season has closed and scan the 40,000 plus acres looking to see if he was wounded more than I thought and see if I can find birds on him if he did die or if the coyotes got him. I just hate to hunt big bucks with any vehicles at all because they are to smart to put up with that. Any noise whatsoever and they are gone!!! So I wont go in with the four wheeler until after the season. We will see.

Grant county. You bring your monster 3p to Dan?Sorry but I don't really understand this post. Not sure who Dan is. The Monster 3pt was shot in Wyoming and not in Grant Co. The 4x4 was shot in Grant Co.

So did you kill him today?He is safe for another year! Took my son up yesterday afternoon with me. Right close to dusk I think (Not sure it was him) I saw him in a draw in the sagebrush with another deer. drove around up top and tried to come down on top of him but the wind was not our friend. Once I got over there both deer had vanished. That's hunting for you! That's what keeps you thinking of next year those cold miserable winter nights!!! Heading to Montana to deer and elk hunt the second week of November and also taking two of my daughters above Ellensburg to try and fill their cow tags next week and then its another year in the books for me! Congrats!I love it!!!! BAR is the best hunting gun ever made! I own 5. Now I know I will get a bunch a crap for saying that but its true! No, it is not the most accurate gun when your looking at super tight groups at long distances but that is not what I claimed. I claimed it is the best HUNTING gun ever made. That little 20 inched barrel 270 Win BAR has killed more deer than most guns ever dream of. No recoil, great for kids and woman, and a dream to shoot!!! Never ever jammed on me ever and I am not an anal gun cleaner either. Just once a year after the season has ended. I could go on and on. I have been shooting my new BAR MK3 synthetic stalker this year in 270win with a 22 inch barrel and it fires like a dream!!
