To me what this proves is that it would be impossible to take away all guns. More likely to affect ownership competency and usage through ammo

:yeah:something I didn't see mentioned is the number of rifles/shotguns used in 'justifiable homicide' versus the total. The report only shows all homicides. I've heard estimates that about a third to half of all the rifle homicides are from some kind of police/agency. Example being SWAT teams or when police respond to situations where they have more time than just drawing the pistol.

No one has a clue how many firearm there is. I suspect there are millions that cannot be traced.
Even the secret service has guns missing.
All the more reason gun control will never work.
About the time you think ammo is all gone,someone will figure out another way to make them go bang.
That's in my opinion is why it is useless for anyone to spend time thinking gun control or bans will ever rid the world of guns.
