I was waiting for it to,show up on here. I'm just happy we are down one. Left Washington, went to Montana and was shot killing sheep. I love Montana. One less Huckleberry wolf
-
Shame they couldn't head west or south. Might find lots of easy targets near the big cities. Then maybe the wolf lovers might get to enjoy a little "Wild Kingdom ala Marlon Perkins"
-
That dude had some legs under him.

Thanks for finding that. I was looking for it. Nice map of his travels. I like the two loops he made
-
Excellent!!
-
Article was in the Spokesman Review this morning. He made it across Lake Kookanoosa somehow as well.
-
Didn't the same exact thing happen a couple years ago?

my guess would be circling flocks of sheep

Damn thing was probably returning home after being in exile!!

This is not uncommon:

My guess is that the wolf walked across Koocanusa on ice

There was a lion that IIRC went from Washington to the Dakotas that was killed in the Badlands I believe

Pretty sure this is what you were talking about. Started in South Dakota, and was killed on a highway in Connecticut.

OR-7 went for NE Oregon to somewhere in California if I recall correctly. He has his own website.

OR-28 (http://kval.com/outdoors/gallery/who-killed-wolf-or-28-reward-now-stands-at-20000#photo-2) was killed down in Southern OR earlier this month.
OR sure seems to have a ton of wolves in the NE. :o Maybe some of them will disperse to Montana where they will have the same fate as that Huckleberry wolf. ;)

In July?

Even the wolves don't want to hunt in Washington anymore. :yike:

My hell that caught me off guard and now I can't stop laughing!!!!!! Good one :-)

I'm surprised that the wolf huggers in Washington haven't been to court yet to get the Federal Officer arrested for shooting a Washington wolf. Maybe we should start putting out bait piles for the rest of them in this state to lure them to Canada, Idaho and Montana where they can be dispatched.

As I recall one from E WA was killed in a pigpen in BC.

No I think Steve Tormala told me about one that was killed in the Dakotas that had originated in eastern WA.
Correction:
I was wrong it originated in Montana and went about 250 miles and swam across Ft Peck Reservoir on the way.
