Title: Idaho elk, first year out of state
Post by: kball4 on November 07, 2016, 01:31:17 PM: Left out for Idaho Saturday the 22nd with my dad and father-in-law 9 hours later we got to Idaho. My uncle in law drove down from Lewiston to meet us. Put on a lot of miles in 8 days on our feet and trucks. Finally found the elk after 5 days of hiking and climbing. Me and my dad went back to back Saturday and Sunday. This was my first elk and my dads first cow. Next year will be a predicament as we all should be able to draw cow tags or quality bull in WA, but we'll be going back to Idaho for sure.
