anyone have any experience with the redfield spotting scopes? looking to get something that will allow me to better identify the size of a buck or bull at 1000 yards.

I have had one for a couple of years, and find it to be a very clear scope. No it won't compare to a Vortex viper or Razor or a Swaro, but for the price it isn't bad. I have had Bushnell, Leupold and Sightron in the past, the least expensive was the Bushnell, and the most expensive was the Sightron at $500.00 the Leupold was the Sequia model, and the Redfield is the clearest of the four.
