We all got a nice buck that shows himself a time or two each year at the Ol' homestead. Here is ours. Let's see what's hanging around your place! Ive posted him before, but this is my favorite yard ornament. Sure messes up a ton of my trees though. Just wish he wasnt so fond of rubbing larch.
-
I think I might remember seeing him a while back, what a dandy.

Well he survived rifle season, so as long as the cougs and wolves dont get him ill likely be posting up pics of his upgraded rack next year. Would be pretty cool, down the road a few years, to have a 7 year old buck hanging out in the back yard.

How old is he now bango?

Probably 4.5, but could be just 3.5. Hard to say for certain. He put on some good growth this year though.
Heres a couple crappy pics of him last fall. That little larch hes rubbing is dead now.

This fella was standing about 20 yards from me before he slowly walked away.
-
Scotsman, that's an amazing pic. Quite a majestic animal!
-
Very cool base on the one side.
-
This is his big brother. I took this picture behind the hot tub. The genetics of the local deer seem to breed bucks with more points on the right side.
-
Wow those are all some nice bucks. If only I seen more like them during hunting season ha

I've seen most of these in daylight during the last couple weeks while driving. These are the best 4 coming into the yard.

That 3rd pic is hot!

:yeah:
And that buck is quite young too. Lots of time to make a great wall mount in a few years and rank high in the books. Please keep us posted in his future.

Admittedly, I didn't take this picture, a hunting buddy did. He's an in town ground pounder that's never been hunted.
-
This guy only comes around after dark.
-
This is one of my yard bucks.
-
Already posted but probably belongs in this thread.
-
Not my pic but a blacktail to drool over
-
Sorry for the poor photo quality..crappy iPhone camera while on the move :chuckle:
-
This is one of my yard bucks.
Here's another of my yard bucks!
-
Damn you guys have some nice blacktails. They in firearm restriction areas?
-
Suburban bucks, not much open land to hunt around me. I think I am actually in a restricted area, but I could archery hunt if I felt comfortable enough. Too many neighbors where a buck could run and die in their yard.
-
Nice bucks. All over the place for a few days, then vanished back up the mountain.
-
Pic almost looks like a water color painting
-
Here's a couple that hit my place for a few weeks.

This is not by any means the biggest buck in Ocean Shores, but it is the biggest forkhorn I've ever seen!
-
This guy has been around for at least 5 years.
-
A friend sent me this one..supposedly was taken in Tacoma
Either way it's a helluva buck (https://hunting-washington.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi799.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fyy275%2Fdeerhunter_98520%2Ffacebook_1477623861900_zpsvkpraqt1.jpg&hash=49dbfd01898f12f0feeed278b533eba4e52a9b48) (http://s799.photobucket.com/user/deerhunter_98520/media/facebook_1477623861900_zpsvkpraqt1.jpg.html)
