If you have a problem... if no one else can help... and if you can find him... maybe you can hire... GunsmithX.

I heard he's out building a wall around his shop. Something about making gunsmithing great again......

+1 for Rick Fruedenberg.
He did great job on my Remington 700 few years back.
If you can't get hold of him on the phone, stop by DJ's guns in Bothell. He should be there every Wednesday.

I have heard some good things about Freudenberg.
I personally have an RBros (Elma) 300 WM (360-791-4741). Travis knows his stuff!!!!
Also, you can get a hold of Mike Johnson at Hells Canyon Armory (Wenatchee). He has some really good things happening!! I think I will be trying one of his carbon barrels this year sometime.

Thumbs up to RBros builds👍

I've had Freudenberg do some accurizing work for me. Top notch work at fair prices and quick turnaround. I recommend him without reservation. Located in Airport Road in Everett.

Whatever you do, do not use Mike Williamson out of Snoho County or Mike Palazzo out of Covington. I have stories that will curl your hair on both of these hammer hounds.

thanks for the heads up

Surprising to hear. I've never used him, or even met him, but I've seen that Mike Palazzo recommended on here numerous times.

Yes, at one time Mike was a great gunsmith.
His eyesight is failing him, and he has lost his manual dexterity. I had to catch him to keep him from falling backwards in his shop once. I watched him remove scope caps with a pair of pliers and completely scar the bluing with zero regard to the damage he had done.
I will let the photos do the rest of the explaining.
