Post by: wolftrapper on December 12, 2016, 02:19:50 PM
Picked up this nicely furred male this morning.  He was chewing on a cow carcass.(https://hunting-washington.com/smf/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi38.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fe126%2Fgun_k9%2Fphoto_zpswmvfqhsh.jpg&hash=e851687e517ac3efa3895ae6833f7f6aeea9992a) (http://s38.photobucket.com/user/gun_k9/media/photo_zpswmvfqhsh.jpg.html)

I am shooting a M70 Winchester in .222 caliber.  3x9 Leupold scope, Harris bipod, Remington 55 gr sp factory ammo.  I want to go to a 50 gr. sp.  55's go through with minimal exit wound, but that lighter bullet might stop.

.222 ? You told me you normally use a wrist rocket, and the times I go with you you take the "Red Ryder" and say the best call to use is the slamming of my car door & the dinger! Buddy I think you've been holding out on me! Glad you're getting out & dropping some for! Congrats!
