I was thinking maybe a 284/378
-
You mean 7mm Ultra?
Ultimate wildcat to me is .257 Roberts.
-
Sounds like a 7mm Allen mag....
Ultimate wild cat definitely has nothing to do with speed.....
-
338 Allen Mag - aka 338-cheytac
-
338 ultra/6.5 :chuckle:
-
I was thinking 338/06 necked to .30 cal. Call it the 30/338/06
-

That would be smoking! The 7.21 Firebird is the closest thing to it with a capacity of over 122 grains.
I still want a 458 that can throw a 600 gr VLD bullet at 2800 fps.
-
The 6.5's are so popular, why not a 6.5 ultra?
-
A 6mm SAUM would be interesting.
-
gotta be the .22 Eargesplitten Loudenboomer, if only for the name! :hello:
-
How about a 50BMG/458 that should get the 600 gr VLD bullet at up to 2800 fps.
-
6.5-06AI
-
At one time I wanted a .22 Cheetah. Turned out the used action I set aside for it had the locking lugs galled badly.
-
Introducing the 14.9 SOP. Necked down from a 20mm vulcan casing, this round is capable of supersonic speed to 5400 yards, and lethal out to 3.5 miles.
Where ever you hide, this will find you.
This will decimate all.

375-303 British thanks Steve Redgewell !

Barrel life? Um probably won't get it dialed in before it cooked :chuckle:
-
what makes a wildcat a wildcat?is it that they just never made it to main stream?
-

I think that's mostly the it. The big brass makers didn't make a run for a few years for it or chamber mass produced rifles in it. Lots of guns that were previously wildcats but are now common.
-
the world of wildcat rounds is cool dont get me wrong, but if its a world someone is into why not design your own wildcat?name it.there is not a wildcat out there that doesnt have a mass produced round that matches it. so if its the wildcat that draws you in i say make your own then and only then would it be the best.................to you. lol :twocents:

This one sounds like it would go together nicely.maybe even a .338/50 BMG.
-
50 cal,necked down to 243 , with a 30 inch barrel
-
What rifling? :yeah: :chuckle:
-
Not sure on twist, but it better be heavy duty rifleing cause your gonna burn that barrel up in three shots :chuckle:
-
forget the rifling the chamber better be extreme or kaboom. :chuckle: A tremendous amount of pressure there.
-
The fps on that would be crazy ,243bmg is what we could name it :chuckle:
Now we just gotta get the military to want it,and a billion dollar contract to build it :chuckle:

#3 ruger in 6.5 TCU
