It's actually a good article. Some lucky hunter in Montana nailed him legally a week or two ago. What a trophy!

I still fondly and vividly remember the anguish of the Lamar Valley wolf worshippers when the Druid Pack caught and slaughtered the matriarch of the Rose Pack. I'm not sure if it was the first documented interpack mortality with the reintroduced wolves, but it was the first one high profile with the public, and sure shattered a few fantasies about what wolves really are.
