Title: Looking for goats
Post by: Xlab_momx on December 24, 2016, 03:50:24 PM
I'm looking for a goat to show and sell at the puget sound junior livestock show which is in June. The goat has to be 50% or more boer and has to be between 6 and 9 months by June. My friend is also looking for one too. I can only buy it if it's somewhere near snohomish county because I do not have the money to go all the way to eastern Washington or out of state or anything like that. Thank you!

Are you on Facebook? There's a northwest livestock sales page with lots of farm animals for sale.

Boer. It's a breed.

I know boer goats are, I've owned.

Why a boer goat?  :dunno:

Ok. Your typo and my assumption. I wasn't sure what you were asking.

meat market, FFA fat stock sale

The Boer's pulled some pretty good coin here at the NEWA fair fat stock sale.  I had kids with hogs in the sale.

I need boer because the livestock show won't accept any other breed. It's known as the meat breed goat I guess.

I have two overfed milk types which are reasonably tame, friendly enough, like to eat, respect a fence which are free to a loving home. We have four. It's two, too many. They are really pretty cool guys. Or, actually they are girls...
