Got the lens back, but kinda hard to handle one handed.  It was interesting to say the least manuevering through the woods to get close to the bulls, without getting the hand wet, or the lens dropped.

the hardest was in the bush.  I needed manual focus and that was nearly impossible one handed.

Good to see you back at it.  I dropped and broke my 80-400 last winter, had serious withdrawals until it was repaired.  So I know how you've been feeling.  Enjoy being out, and heal up soon.
Great shots, the falling snow adds a nice touch.

Thanks TS.  When that big bugger turned and ripped a bugle at me and I was actually looking through my viewfinder I was pretty ecstatic.  I am usually standing there trying to get focused or some dang thing.  Then my card filled up and I had bulls in front of me and I frnatically started deleting sheep pics.

Awesome pic's Bone. That second one could be on the front cover of any mag. The one behind the tree looks like he's dropped one side allready. :dunno:

Thanks, glad you guys/gals enjoy them.  Hand was hurtin after that.  Hope that means its healing.  I HOPEFULLY get out of this cast Tuesday.  I was grounded today.  Figured it would be hard to keep dry.   I'm more worried about my Cabin Fever at the moment than my hand.
