Called her in and Crowinghen made a great shot . Her first bobcat .

What kind of call and what was the terrain like? I've taken many yotes but still need a bobcat.

I started with 3 howls using a diaphragm , waited 10 minutes and then went into rabbit distress using an closed reed , called for about a minute or so then stopped . about 2 minutes later I heard my wife shoot . I set my wife on a high spot were she could see a ridge line about 100 yards away that I thought coyotes might come to , about a 8-10 year old cut . I called from down below . I thought that what ever came in would stop at the ridge line and watch down below to see what was happening . My wife said that is exactly what the cat did , it ran right to the ridge , stopped and sat down looking my direction . We didn't really do anything special , it was my normal coyote set and a cat showed up .

Very nice. I've only called in 1 Bobcat. I didn't want to shoot it with my 300RUM.

Nice one! I've been thinking about getting the pass again this year. Didn't use it much the last time I bought it. You seem to get a lot of use out of it. See many grouse?
