Called this pretty female this morning. I spotted her above me, and about a quarter mile away. I started a stalk, but she decided to lay down...facing me, of course, so I went to the call. Coyote sounds.
I watched to see her reaction. At first, she just sat up, looking my direction, so I kept changing sounds until she came my way. As soon as she started my way, she vanished from my view, so all I could do is wait. In a few minutes, she showed up to my left, and about a hundred yards out. When I shifted my rifle in her direction, she stopped, facing me, which gave me a facing shot to her chest.
I closed the deal.
Man it was cold!
