Title: Joe Watt
Post by: jstone on January 26, 2017, 09:44:18 AM: I have never been to Joe Watt, I am thinking about going Saturday Morning. Is thee a certain time that they feed in the morning? Is there a time they open the gates so you can park and watch? If I don't have the discovery pass will I be in trouble form the man?

Post by: Pinetar on January 26, 2017, 12:59:34 PM: They feed in the mornings and lots of elk now. I believe if you have your WDFW pass you are good. No gate to get in. Just drive over the bridge and right up to the elk fence.

Post by: RG on January 27, 2017, 04:39:35 PM: They feed around 8 or 9 AM. You can drive to the parking area and watch through the fence but the gate is locked till May. Two weeks ago they estimated 750 head at Joe Watt.
