My mom found a pair last year and got them scored at the sportsmen's show today. They scored 191 7/8 and 191. I know not everyone records their monsters, but that puts them #7 and #8 WA state all time.

That's crazy thier odd and so identical. Nice ones.

Nice set  I would love to see that bull on the hoof

Nice sheds Sern, I saw them Saturday great bull for sure, those genetics are sweet, I get excited just thinking about the possibilities for future bulls, my sheds ranked 7th and 8th in the non-typical category, now that the G-3 bull is dead I can share a few pictures.
-
Danderson, that bull is out of this world! I'm glad you posted him, and it's funny you did. On the way home from the sportsman show my brother and I talked about Mr G-3 and wondered what his horns scored. We thought he would be neck and neck with my mom's set. The genetics in that whole general area are limitless.
What did G-3's antlers score, if you don't mind sharing?
Thanks for posting the pic. Hope that bull did some serious lovin in his day!
-
Wow!
-
Those sheds are incredible. So cool to have that set!
-
My set scored 433 5/8, with a 40 inch spread credit , when he got hit he scored 424 5/8, its spread was 43 1/8, both were mounted by the Elk Foundation.
-
Wow...just wow!
-
What a monster! Thanks for sharing
-
Amazing.
Sternwarning- sweet that you got a pic of him on the hoof before finding his sheds.
Danderson- did you have history or know of the g-3 bull before you found his sheds? (Seems like I remember reading something from you about it..?) Great finds!!!!
-
Amazing sheds!! Took an amazing animal to grow those sets of antlers.
-
I had pretty much found his bedroom, winter and summer range, many great game camera pictures in different velvet and hard horned stages since 2012, yeah we had history, I have some great video of him at 30 yards bugling and tearing it up during the rut also, i'll share at some point.

I got to see the pair of top ten sheds at the Sammamish Valley Chapter RMEF Banquet last night. Very beautiful antlers. I am always impressed how some Washington elk can grow antlers that big. Thanks for displaying them, it made the evening more noteworthy.
-
Thanks for sharing your sheds gentleman, two true Washington giants.
-
It was our pleasure to share them with everyone! Washington state has world class animals. You never know what you will come across when you spend time outdoors. That's why we enjoy it so much!

I've got a set I'd like to score and compare to this list. I see the base circumference listed on there, does anyone know if that is a measurement in addition to the four circumference measurements or just the one between g1 and g2?
-
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the base would be the 1st of the 4 circumference measurements.
-
Yeah, the first of the 4 circumference measurements "H1". Between the "G1" and "G2".
-
:yeah:
Between G1 and G2 is a whole lot different than the base measurement for the H1. You could be talking 4-6" in many cases.
-
Copy thanks guys.
-
Holy crap!!
That's a bull of a lifetime right there :yike: :yike: :yike:
