Just checked it and the results are now posted.

So how old was the bear you shot?
-
It was aged at 6 years old.
-
How or where did you find that information, if you don't mind me asking? My son shot a nice boar in the Blues three springs ago and we never did get any info on the tooth that we submitted. I figured the information was never published. Thanks

Go to wdfw site, go to hunting section pick bear in the game species section and scroll down to tooth age look up.

8 1/2 is a pretty good bear really. Most bears shot are probably much younger. First bear I ever shot was a 13 year old sow that only had 1 k9 tooth left. All the others were broke off.

Yep, the skull is much bigger than my first bear that was killed in 2012, fall season.
-
My 2016 spring bear was 9 years old
-
8 Plus is what I "consider" a "good" bear.
"internet short version of what I think is a good range for a mature bruin"

My 2015 spring bear was 27 years old. As old as I am

Is there a company that can age teeth after a skull has been processed / euro mounted?
-
Lol, I'm not willing to divulge the age of my spring bear last year. They sure look bigger at a distance, don't they :bash:
