Title: Bear authority ready to hunt package
Post by: wahunter21 on February 12, 2017, 08:10:36 PM: I'm thinking about getting a new bow. I found a new factory packaged bear authority ready to hunt package for 265.00. Anybody have any opinions? Gonna use it for hunting deer and elk.

It really is a great shooting bow if your draw length is 29" or less. The Ready to Hunt packages are very basic/nothing special packages. But heck - who cares at $265!!

Probably a better bow than I had for my first 20 years of bowhunting. And I tagged a lot of animals during that time.

Even though I am brand new to archery and hunting so far I like this bow. Thinking about replacing my quiver and the strap but other than that I plan to practice my butt off with it until the season starts. Question did your quiver come without the form insert for the broadheads?

Post by: RadSav on March 17, 2017, 05:13:06 PM: If it's a Trophy Ridge quiver that Bear puts with the R2H package I believe that has two arrow gripers (5 Spot quiver). In that case it is a hollow hood with no foam.
