But what is the point of taking a perfectly good semi auto and making it a pump? Does it "lock up" better and shoot more like a bolt gun? I don't know. I'm confused. Maybe it would be legal in ban states? Maybe they could keep using their prior owned 10+ mags?

Maybe it can fire when the stock is folded?

Because it's legal in 50 states, I guess, even though the magazine wouldn't be.

The magazine issue aside, I think that is the intent. The alternatives are not pretty if you want to keep it semi-auto...
