I know it's really just a small grant of our previous I594 liberties granted back, but this is a good start.Done and not to start an argument but I prefer claw back to grant :)

I wrote to my liberal leaders that this was truly "common sense" and if they'd ever supported common sense gun legislation, this HAD to be something they would support. That the only reason to require multiple background checks was to systematically impede people's ability to utilize their second amendment right.
Hopefully it makes sense to them, but I'm not sure that we see common sense the same way.

All the republicans can do when they are outnumbered is to bring common sense bills up for votes and let the voters know how their legislators voted in hopes of getting better legislators elected next election cycle.

Gives me some level of hope that everyone isn’t blindly stuck on one side or the other. There is room for common ground and common sense.

A CPL exemption undermines their narrative that the guns are the problem and not the people.
It's much harder to argue that product X should be completely banned from the public when group y can use it without any problems.
