Please look into this bill. It would allow CPL holders to transfer firearms between one another with out the additional burden of yet another background check. This really is common sense. I hope people looking for common sense gun legislation can see this...

I fully support this bill and I am glad to see this bipartisan effort to restore some common sense to private firearm transactions.
-
No brainer
-
I know it's really just a small grant of our previous I594 liberties granted back, but this is a good start.
-
This would be a great compromise to I594.

Done and not to start an argument but I prefer claw back to grant :)

I hope this passes
TAG - so I can write my :twocents: later

I wrote to my liberal leaders that this was truly "common sense" and if they'd ever supported common sense gun legislation, this HAD to be something they would support. That the only reason to require multiple background checks was to systematically impede people's ability to utilize their second amendment right.
Hopefully it makes sense to them, but I'm not sure that we see common sense the same way.

This would be the only way I would get a CPL.

:yeah: perfectly stated!
Does anyone have time to post the email addresses or phone numbers of who to contact?
-
Makes too much sense, there for can not be allowed. Besides then there would be no paper trail to track the evil guns.

Just curious as to why?
-
Common sense and Liberal should not be used in the same sentence.

First I wanna say this seems like a very good thing, but on the same note will be very shocked if anything changes, laws are very hard to change, revise, ect. After they have been in effect.Has anybody even been prosecuted for breaking i594,ffl holders that make money off of transfers won't support it,I hate safety belt laws but there not going away,we have so many laws there's no meaning to the word freedom anymore. :twocents:
GOODLUCK WITH it though.

I agree that it won't get signed by Inslee if it does make it through the house and senate. All the republicans can do when they are outnumbered is to bring common sense bills up for votes and let the voters know how their legislators voted in hopes of getting better legislators elected next election cycle.

There are 2 Democrats sponsoring this bill:

Gives me some level of hope that everyone isn’t blindly stuck on one side or the other. There is room for common ground and common sense.

So I could buy guns from private sellers with out the added cost and BS of 594.

I was actually just curious why you wouldn't get a CPL otherwise?

2A doesn't require one.

THANKS, messages sent.

Got a response, it died in the house.
-
Boo!
-
Apparently they don't REALLY want common sense gun laws! :bash:
-
Liberals don't like acknowledging that some groups are more responsible with guns than others.
A CPL exemption undermines their narrative that the guns are the problem and not the people.
It's much harder to argue that product X should be completely banned from the public when group y can use it without any problems.
-
You would think that liberals would welcome something to take the pressure off the backed-up background check system in this state so they can disqualify more people from exercising their rights.
-
sorry to hear

we are out numbered here so I see no changes for the good. This liberal crap is pounded into the heads of our kids from grade school on up..We must educate as many youth as possible..I know the principles at my kids school years ago hated to see me coming :bash: Thanks for the info,we must keep trying
